In all horse races where a selection is adjudged not to have started and is declared as a Non-Runner, stakes on that selection will be refunded, except with Ante-Post bets.
In the event that a horse comes under starters orders but refuses to race, your horse will be considered as a runner for settlement purposes and the bet will be settled as a loss (according to the standings of that race).
If a horse is withdrawn before coming under Starters Orders, bets will be settled using the Rule 4 Deduction scale. The scale adjusts prices to reflect the absence from the book of any non-runner up to a maximum of 90p per £1 won.
